Hi! I’m Sandra,

I've lived on the same block since 1998 so the prospect of an international move is, well, daunting to say the least. I'm excited to finally feel respected and wanted in a country and to have the freedom to travel the world or even to travel within 100 miles of a land border (Maine, here we come!).

 

For the past ten years I've lived my life two years at a time, denied the opportunity to put roots into the land in which I was raised. Now, we are living our lives two weeks at a time as we await the Canadian Express Entry draw that occurs bi-weekly and dictates when we will finally be selected to move north.

In the meantime, I will continue to work my half dozen jobs and side gigs while planning for a whole new adventure. Whenever someone asks me where I will be in five years, I've never had the answer, but now, I will.
